Greencrest was built by John Worthington in 1873 on River Street. Greencrest is a Victorian house. Greencrest is said to be haunted by Jenny Cooper. When John Worrthington married Jenny Cooper, she gave him a portrait of her.

 After Jenny died at the age of 18, John got married again, and took the picture down because his new wife told him to. When bad luck started, John got scared and bolted the picture on the wall. The picture still hangs today.
