The Presbyterian Church was built in 1805 and had a round cupola with a tin dome.  It was built by twin brothers, Cyrus and Cyrenus Clark.  They were assisted by Edmund Pearsaill, who was known to be a skilled worker and a daredevil.  During the raising of the steeple in 1887,  he amazed villagers by standing on his head on one of the posts

The building has not been changed since 1935, when some changes in the structure where made.  The Presbyterian Church was also used for community events.  The first Otsego County Fair was held there on October 14, 1817.
